About the role
As an Experienced Project Manager at Gainwell, you will contribute your skills to harness the power of technology to help clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve—particularly a community’s most vulnerable. You’ll lead project management teams, ensuring projects move forward efficiently and effectively while supporting Gainwell’s growth through detailed statements of work and new proposal efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more large project management teams by breaking down complex technological programs and assisting with project staffing.
- Spearhead project planning, tracking, and oversight of assigned staff by providing direction and deadlines to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate with clients, company leadership, and project teams, measuring and sharing project metrics and status; recommend program changes as needed.
- Create project schedules, program definitions, budgets, and objectives to ensure the quality of deliverables across all phases.
- Actively manage projects across non-direct reports by quickly escalating risks and implementing mitigation solutions.
- Support Gainwell’s growth by preparing detailed Statements of Work (SOW) and assisting with new proposal efforts and business development.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through a full project management lifecycle.
- Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, services, and solution architectures (AWS certification a plus).
- 5+ years of experience working on projects leveraging AWS.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining complex project schedules in MS Project.
- Modern understanding of budget development, control, and assurance methods, as well as project management software.
- Ability to lead and translate broader program objectives into clear, achievable project scope and milestones.
- Leadership to train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues.
- Strong executive presence with clear communication skills.
- Creative problem-solver who thrives on defining structure from ambiguity.
- Influencer who can communicate project priorities and motivate direct and indirect networks and stakeholders.
Schedule
- Hybrid position at Gold River, CA (2-3 days per week in office).
- Opportunities to travel (0-10%).
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $92,900.00 - $132,700.00 per year. Base pay may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
