About the role

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Procurement Agent to join the A-MH (Air Dominance Proprietary) team in Hazelwood, Missouri. This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed location options and requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required).

Responsibilities

Experienced Level 3

• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Senior Level 4

• Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
• Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
• Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• U.S. Citizenship required to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
• Position is 100% onsite in Hazelwood, Missouri
• 1st shift
• Travel up to 25% of the time may be required

Qualifications

Basic

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Senior Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• More than 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Typical Education/Experience

• Experienced Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience; advanced degree preferred but not required
• Senior Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience; advanced degree preferred but not required

Pay

• Experienced Level 3: $88,400 - $109,200
• Senior Level 4: $110,500 - $136,500

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
