Position Responsibilities

Perform engineering design review
Material and part qualification internal to Boeing and at suppliers
Provide engineering support to the production system
Possess and encourage others to have a mindset of Safety and First Pass Quality
Influence others to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 5+ years of experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • 2+ years of experience working with composites and/or composite manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience with composite part and/or material qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in a materials and processes engineering environment
  • Experience with aerospace composites technology
  • Experience with large scale composite manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with suppliers associated with an engineering production system
  • Problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Experience with safety and quality processes

Pay

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $112,200 – $151,800
Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $136,850 – $185,150

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift

This position is for 1st shift.
