About the role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, WA for an Experienced Medicare & Individual Health Insurance Agent.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs
- Explain Medicare and individual health insurance options
- Recommend suitable plans
- Manage a pipeline of leads
- Conduct policy reviews
- Process applications
- Maintain accurate client records
- Educate clients on coverage details, compliance requirements, and enrollment timelines
- Participate in community events and outreach efforts to build relationships and expand the client base
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent, client-centered service and adherence to agency standards
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance practices
- In-depth knowledge of Health Insurance and Medicare products and regulations
- Excellent Communication skills for client consultations, education, and follow-up
- Active health and life insurance producer license (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe)
- Previous experience selling Medicare and individual health insurance plans is highly preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Vancouver, WA and engage with the local community
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with using CRM and digital tools
- Commitment to ethical sales practices and providing client-focused guidance
