Experienced Lot tech / Porter

About the role

As a Lot Technician at Salt Lake Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the Service lot and inventory. This includes clearly picking up customer's vehicles and bringing them, maintaining a clean service parking lot as well as service drive. Having a close relationship to our Service Advisor and technician team with excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and offers competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize the Service lot and inventory
• Pick up customer's vehicles and bring them to the service area
• Maintain a clean service parking lot and service drive
• Build and maintain close relationships with Service Advisors and technician team
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in the automotive industry (preferred)
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and care
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and moving vehicles
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
