The Deck Down Under is seeking a highly experienced Chargrill Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is a newly created position, not replacing any existing roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality, timing, communication, and organization under high-volume conditions
• Work alongside other accomplished kitchen professionals and contribute at a high level
• Run expo or the wheel when needed
• Communicate effectively with experienced cooks and chefs
• Takes ownership without needing constant direction
• Values teamwork over titles or hierarchy
• Dependable, professional, and consistent performance

Requirements

• Extensive high-volume restaurant experience
• Strong chargrill skills
• Experience running expo or the wheel
• Ability to remain calm and productive during extreme rushes
• Understanding of ticket timing and full-line coordination
• Strong communication skills
