Experienced Landscape Architect (Bedford)

About the role

The Landscape Partnership is seeking a Chartered Landscape Architect to join their team. They are looking for ambitious, experienced Landscape Architects who can bring energy and enthusiasm to their work. Key requirements include post-grad diploma or MA in Landscape Architecture (CMLI preferred), comprehensive understanding of all project stages and the design process, solid technical knowledge, good graphic skills, strong communication, and proven experience in delivering high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead involvement in a wide range of project types at all stages of the design and implementation process
• Collaborate with London and Norfolk/Suffolk teams on various projects
• Work on diverse projects across different sectors such as public realm, recreation, commercial, education, care, strategic, and detailed residential schemes, including high-density projects
• Engage in renewable energy and green infrastructure projects
• Participate in planning applications and the construction process
• Develop detailed design packages and prepare technical reports and design statements
• Use IT skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and other relevant software
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Advocate for the company's interests and contribute to the development of the firm's reputation

Requirements

• Post-Grad Diploma or MA in Landscape Architecture (CMLI preferred)
• Comprehensive understanding of all project stages and the design process
• Solid technical knowledge, including UK design standards and regulations
• Experience in producing high-quality technical drawings and specifications
• Good graphic skills, including hand sketching and digital design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality projects on site
• Right to work in the UK
• Beneficial experience in LVIAGIS, Artisan, Keyscape
• Experience with BIM Level 2 and Revit or Vectorworks

Pay

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of three days in the Bedford office and the remaining days potentially available for remote work, by agreement.
