About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for both residential and commercial clients. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of residential service and repair experience.
• Clean driving record and professional appearance with a strong work ethic and sales aptitude.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Ownership of hand tools, cordless tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using various hand tools.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime as needed.
• Desire to earn more than $80,000 a year.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification (Type I and II) or Universal Certification.
• Experience with smart thermostats, ductless systems, and advanced HVAC technologies.
• Knowledge of local building codes and HVAC regulations.
• Familiarity with HVAC maintenance and repair software or apps.
• Ability to service oil-fired units.
