About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC components such as compressors, fans, and ductwork.
- Install new HVAC equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and comply with industry standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and installation.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant certifications preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with various HVAC system types and technologies.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
