About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Reno team. You’ll service wet, dry, and antifreeze systems; inspect sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, alarms, and related components; troubleshoot and repair or replace faulty parts; test water flow, pressure, and alarms; perform preventive maintenance and code compliance checks; and travel within the region with occasional overnights.
Requirements
- 3+ years in fire sprinkler/life safety trades
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Knowledge of fire/building codes, OSHA requirements, and fire sprinkler systems
- Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call when needed
Preferred: Nevada licenses, backflow knowledge, MSHA certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance
- Comfortable with climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in tight spaces
- Capable of standing, kneeling, crouching, or stooping for extended periods
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions
