About the role

JL Anderson Heating and Cooling is expanding our commercial service operations and is seeking an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support customers throughout the Zionsville area. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial HVAC systems while building a long-term career with an established company that has served Central Indiana businesses since 1999.

Pay

• $35.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience
• Annual earnings of $78,000-$90,000+ with overtime opportunities

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and equipment startups
• Service rooftop units, boilers, VRF systems, VAV equipment, split systems, and HVAC controls
• Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control problems
• Read blueprints and wiring schematics
• Complete detailed service reports
• Maintain professional customer relationships
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures

Requirements

• At least three years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• NATE certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, controls, and commercial HVAC equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
