Experienced Commercial HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Lays out and installs Sheetmetal and/or duct systems.
• Reads blueprints and interprets specifications.
• Installs hangars or supports for systems.
• Assembles and installs HVAC equipment as necessary.
• Keeps equipment in good working order and insures proper and timely maintenance is performed.
• Fulfills all OSHA standards for safety.
• Maintains a clear work area and performs routine clean-up as needed.
• Organizes work and utilizes preplanning such as a four-week look-ahead schedule.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sheetmetal/HVAC in field operations.
• Completion of an Apprenticeship program preferred.

Job Skills

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of general Sheetmetal/HVAC installation.
• Working knowledge of all hand and power tools.
• Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity.
• Strong math skills.

Physical Requirements

• Eyesight correctable to 20/50.
• Able to perform shift work.
• Able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Special Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Journeyman’s license if required.
