About the role
Butterfly Effects' Mission is to make a socially significant change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism. We are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. Join us in collaborating with families to execute ABA-based behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities
- Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
- Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
- Manages challenging behaviors.
- Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
- Auxiliaries clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
- Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
- Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
- Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
- Participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
- Maintains confidentiality of client information.
- Fulfills all policies and procedures set forth by Butterfly Effects.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
- Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
- Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
- Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
- Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.

Benefits
- Competitive Compensation: Earn an hourly rate between $21.00 - $28.00, based on your experience, education, and certifications.
- Part-Time Availability: Monday - Friday 8:20-2:30PM.
