About the role

Rice Companies is looking for Experienced Carpenters to join the Service team at our Appleton, WI location. The commercial service team handles repairs, troubleshooting, small projects, and urgent calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial carpentry service work in various settings such as offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
• Diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.
• Complete repairs, installations, and small projects with craftsmanship and efficiency.
• Communicate professionally with facility managers, tenants, and sometimes stressed managers.
• Work independently and as part of a team, safely, and with organization.

Requirements

• Solid commercial carpentry experience including framing, doors, hardware, trim, repairs, roofs, remodels, and general service work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different situations.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and navigating a variety of projects.
• A valid driver's license and reliable attendance.
