About the role
Benjamin + Company is a Brunswick-based residential construction and timber framing company dedicated to quality, building science, and craft. We build custom, high-performance residential homes and integrate advanced building envelope systems, interior finish work, and collaboration with other trades.
Responsibilities
- Framing through finish
- Advanced building envelope systems: air sealing, insulation, weatherization
- Interior finish work: trim, built-ins, stairs, and custom millwork
- Collaborate with other trades toward seamless, high-quality results
Requirements
- 3+ years of residential construction experience
- Solid hands-on experience with framing and finish carpentry
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-first attitude and clear communication
- Comfort with physically demanding work and working at heights
- Basic tool set, valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- High-performance building experience (Passive House, air barriers, etc.)
- OSHA 10/30 certification
Skills
- Advanced framing and finish carpentry skills
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
