Experienced Caregivers Needed + $250 Bonus

Overview

We are seeking caregivers for NE Portland, SE Portland, and surrounding communities. Special emphasis is placed on those willing to work weekends and weekdays. Full-time and part-time positions are available. TheKey is the largest provider of private pay in-home care for aging seniors in North America.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients 1:1 with personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming, and assisting with meals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Provide transportation services: driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Offer companionship: engaging in games, puzzles, or other activities to provide social and emotional support
• Handle additional needs for this client, including Hoyer lift transfers, full bed-bound care, bed baths, incontinence care, and mobility support
• Conduct light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Collaborate with an actively involved family care team

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience required
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience preferred
• Total care, skilled nursing facility, memory care, or rehab experience highly valued
• Strong professional communication skills, patience, and adaptability
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness a MUST
• Able to use sound judgment and remain calm in various situations
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
• Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance, and registration)
