As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support while helping clients maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing and grooming
- Provide toileting and incontinence care
- Assist with dressing and personal hygiene
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Help clients maintain their dignity and independence
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, when applicable
- Perform light housekeeping
- Assist with laundry
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Assist clients with daily routines
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Encourage independence and social engagement
- Assist clients with appropriate daily activities
- Develop a respectful and supportive relationship with clients
- Assist with ambulation
- Assist with transfers, as permitted by the client's care plan
- Support safe movement throughout the home
- Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and applicable requirements
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments, when applicable
- Assist with errands and community activities, when applicable
