- Active California Home Care Aide registration
- Current tuberculosis clearance
- Minimum of six months of caregiving experience
- Previous hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift
- Confident using a Hoyer lift
- Comfortable providing personal care and transfer assistance
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- Reliable transportation
Skills
Safely assist clients with Hoyer lift transfers
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
Provide mobility assistance and repositioning
Provide companionship and emotional support
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
Provide medication reminders
Promote client safety, comfort, and independence
Follow individualized care plans
Report changes in a client’s condition to the appropriate team member
Maintain dependable and professional attendance
