Experienced Background Field Investigator (Nationwide FT)

About the role

This position is fully remote based out of your primary residence. With your active Top-Secret Clearance required, you will play a vital role in supporting National Security and ensuring excellence with our clients and customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct federal background investigations
• Prepare detailed reports adhering to Federal Investigative Standards, laws, and agency regulations
• Travel to various places of employment, residences, and educational institutions to support diverse cases
• Navigate complex investigations with a focus on integrity and meeting stringent federal requirements
• Review appropriate records meticulously to resolve material issues and establish the qualifications of subjects under investigation
• Produce thorough reports within strict timelines while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production metrics

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma with at least 2–3 years relevant experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma with at least 1 year of the last 3 years working on a Federal BI contract
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally daily dependent on assignment location
• Home office equipped with high-speed internet and fax line; laptop provided by government customer
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Pay

$26.07 - $47.98 per hour with additional H&W/hour plus ability to achieve a production/goal incentive.
