Experienced Babysitters & Childcare Providers Needed
About the role
Jovie of San Antonio is hiring reliable, engaging caregivers to support local families, nonprofit organizations, hotels, and special events. This position is ideal for individuals with prior childcare experience such as: babysitting for other families, nannying, daycare or preschool work, teaching or paraprofessional experience, students with prior childcare experience, camps and youth programs, church nursery or children's ministry care. We're looking for dependable caregivers who enjoy working with children and can commit to providing excellent care on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities
- Care for children ages 1-13
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities
- Read, play games, craft, and support learning
- Prepare simple meals and snacks
- Follow family routines, including naps and bedtime
- Transport children when needed
- Maintain a safe and organized environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of childcare experience outside your immediate family
- Ability to provide 2-3 childcare references (professional references preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Age 18+
- Available at least one consistent weekday every week

$16.25/hr
