Experienced Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles
• Prioritize and plan work flow to meet demands and customer needs
• Cook up parts from the Part Department to ensure availability for repairs
• Complete service and repair assignments correctly to pass quality inspections or test drives
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly
• Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor for customer notification
• Aid Service Advisors in explaining completed repairs to customers
• Promote the dealership with a professional image, positive attitude, and clean work area
• Maintain productivity and quality goals

Requirements

• At least 1-3 years experience as an Automotive Service Technician, preferred
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or Industry Certification equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using common mechanic shop tools, including computerized equipment
• Ability to bend, move, lift, and perform duties in the scope of this position

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or industry certification equivalent
• At least 1-3 years experience as an Automotive Service Technician, preferred
• Valid driver's license
