Experienced Automotive Technician

About the role

Volkswagen of Cool Springs is expanding and seeks experienced technicians to join a fast-paced, high-volume shop. The position offers a strong support team, top-tier pay, and access to the latest tools and training. Signing bonuses are available for qualified technicians with VW factory experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle issues with precision and efficiency
• Collaborate with service advisors and service manager to ensure accurate repair plans
• Provide labor and time estimates for service jobs
• Run all appropriate test plans and follow proper repair procedures for warranty repairs
• Document completed work with clarity and thoroughness
• Maintain and follow all safety and vehicle care standards
• Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed
• Stay current on technical bulletins, factory updates, and training requirements

Requirements

• Experience with VW, Audi, or other European brands (strongly preferred)
• Solid diagnostic skills, technical ability, and a strong work ethic
• A team player with a positive attitude and a focus on quality
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED; manufacturer training is a plus
