Experienced Automotive Technican
About the role
The Experienced Automotive Technician is the top of our maintenance team with a focus on diagnostic and repair. This role works to keep all equipment in running condition through our effective preventative maintenance program, as well as taking on the responsibility of handling complex repairs such as engine and transmission overhauls. This position is a master technician and assumes a leadership role with product knowledge and a standard of quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and repair work on vehicles
- Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance program
- Handle complex repairs including engine and transmission overhauls
- Provide technical leadership and maintain quality standards
- Use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Trade School preferred
- ASE Certification preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of vehicle maintenance experience
- Ability to perform vehicle repairs without oversight
- Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency with shop equipment (lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, scan tools)
- Must have own tools to perform necessary repairs
- Valid Driver's License required
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $32.00
- Overtime pay eligible (per federal, state, and local laws; approval required prior to use)
- Holiday pay eligible: 1.5x regular rate for hours worked on designated holidays, plus 8 hours holiday pay
- Sick pay: up to 48 hours granted
- Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid Observed Holidays: accruals start at 0.83 days per month, 4 floating holidays, 9 paid observed holidays
