Honda Libertyville, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is hiring an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our high-performing sales team.
About the role
This position is best suited for a proven automotive salesperson who knows how to prospect, follow up, set appointments, work a CRM, build value, and close deals. This is not an entry-level sales position; we are looking for someone with automotive sales experience who is ready to compete, produce, and earn at a high level.
Earning Opportunity
- $100,000–$200,000+ earning opportunity for top performers
- Commission-based pay plan with strong earning potential
- Opportunity to sell both new Honda and pre-owned inventory
- High-volume internet, phone, and showroom sales opportunities
- No cap on commissions
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and professionally to internet, phone, and showroom opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using the CRM
- Set appointments, follow up with prospects, and create urgency
- Build value in Honda and pre-owned vehicles, dealership advantages, and available options
- Overcome objections, present numbers confidently, and close business
- Deliver a professional customer experience from first contact through delivery
- Consistently work toward individual and team sales goals
Requirements
- Automotive sales experience required
- Proven ability to sell at a high volume, ideally 15+ vehicles per month
- Strong follow-up habits and CRM discipline
- Ability to work leads, set appointments, and close deals
- Competitive mindset with the drive to perform at the top of the sales board
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-service skills
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic
