Experienced Automotive Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic - Frederick Ford

About the role

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is expanding and proud to announce the opening of their new, state-of-the-art Truck Shop at Frederick Ford in Seaford. This facility offers almost 10,000 square feet equipped with the latest tools and technology to service light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair diesel and automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and emissions. - Perform inspections, maintenance, and testing on major components. - Complete accurate repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. - Stay current with evolving automotive technologies.

Requirements

- Automotive and/or diesel repair experience. - ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain). - Strong work ethic and reliability. - High School Diploma or GED. - Valid driver's license. - Full set of tools.

Qualifications

- Experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment. - Knowledge of automotive and diesel repair procedures. - Attention to detail and safety awareness.

Pay

Schedule
