Description
Location: Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions: acquisitions, dispositions, financing and development.
- Draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and joint venture agreements.
- Advise clients on land use, zoning, title, environmental issues and regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including developers, lenders, and government agencies.
- Manage client relationships, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to business development efforts.
- Provide strategic counsel on investment structuring, due diligence and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial real estate and financing experience required.
- Admission to Massachusetts bar (or ability to waive in) required.
- Admission to New York and Connecticut (or ability to waive in) preferred.
- Must have Juris Doctorate degree with an ABA accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the bar.
- Existing client relationships and/or portable book of business highly valued.
- Experience in land use and zoning transactions preferred.
- Commitment to exceptional client service and professional growth.
- Corporate experience desirable.
- Military experience welcome.
