Job Description Position Summary Guggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an exceptional, experienced Associate to join its Digital Infrastructure Investment Banking team located in New York. With offices in New York and London, our Digital Infrastructure team is a market leader within the sector, with strong relationships ranging from large cap public companies and financial sponsors, to high-growth private companies, growth equity platforms, and everything in between. The team has a long history of executing high profile M&A transactions and other capital markets advisory projects for the world’s most important telecom, data centers, artificial intelligence, networking, fiber, broadband, cable, towers, satellites and infrastructure companies, as well as financial sponsors and other sources of financial capita. Some of the team’s marquee transactions include serving as lead financial advisor to Macquarie and Aligned Datacenters on the largest data center transaction in history in 2025. We advise clients on various types of financial transactions and strategic advisory projects, including mergers & acquisitions, equity & equity-linked capital markets and debt capital markets transactions, joint ventures, balance sheet management, and other bespoke strategic & financial products. Essential Job Functions Lead day-to-day project management and oversee execution on a range of advisory and financing transactionsDevelop and oversee financial and accounting analyses and help identify, research, and analyze M&A and financing opportunitiesAnalyze and manage the analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and publicly traded company financials to identify potential client solutions and new market opportunitiesDevelop and monitor the development of complex financial models for a broad range of corporate finance alternativesPerform financial and valuation analysis using both industry standard and proprietary modelsAnalyze and supervise the analysis of current and past accounting and financial records to advise management through financial projections preparationIntegrate strategy ideas derived from various analyses, forecasts, business plans, and research into presentations for various stakeholdersConduct due diligence investigations of client companies to ascertain the soundness of their business model and forecastsTransaction evaluation, preparation, due diligence, and execution of transactions; and managing the preparation of marketing materials including teasers, information memoranda, and other transaction-related documentationHelp lead deal pitches including idea generationAct as the financial and strategic advisor for clients of core accounts in conjunction with senior coverage officersBuild and develop relationships with clients through ongoing engagement and demonstration of financial and industry knowledgeGenerate potential ideas and new business opportunities to clients to help solve problems Preferred Qualifications Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior managementHighly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervisionExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skillsEffective process management abilitiesSell-side advisory experience is a plusExperience in the telecom & digital infrastructure sector is a plus Basic Qualifications Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree5 years of experience or an MBA with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in IBCore modeling and valuation experience in professional settingSIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment Salary Annual base salary range from $200,000 to $225,000.The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
