Experienced Associate, Family Office
What You’ll Do
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? As an Experienced Staff within our Family Office (Business & Accounting) team, you will support a high-touch client environment by providing day-to-day accounting, reporting, and operational support across multiple clients. This role requires strong technical skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to help manage evolving client needs while ensuring accuracy and responsiveness. You will serve as a key team contributor, acting as a bridge between leadership and less experienced team members, while helping to manage workflows, troubleshooting issues, and keep client deliverables on track.
- Support a high-touch, dynamic client environment, assisting with day-to-day accounting and operational needs
- Act as a liaison between leadership and less experienced team members, ensuring smooth communication and workflow execution
- Aid with client payments, transaction processing, and financial activity tracking
- Draft and support client communications, including emails and status updates
- Provide support across multiple clients, rather than owning a single engagement
Accounting, Reporting & Review
- Perform and support QuickBooks accounting or similar software, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Absorb review work, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Work with brokerage statements and investment-related accounting, including alternative investments
- Identify and resolve discrepancies through hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Maintain strong attention to detail while managing competing priorities
Workflow Management & Problem Solving
- Proactively anticipate incoming work and help manage deadlines
- Step in to troubleshoot issues and resolve day-to-day challenges across engagements
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and client needs
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 1–5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or family office environments
- Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills required
- Experience with general corporate and personal accounting
- Exposure to investment accounting or brokerage statement analysis preferred
- Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship
- PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Experience in a family office or single-family office environment preferred
- Exposure to Office of the CFO–type services or outsourced accounting environments
- Familiarity supporting high-net-worth individuals or closely held businesses
- Comfortable working in roles with varying levels of client interaction

Estimated Base Range: $60,000 - 80,000*
Base compensation offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
