Experienced Analyst - Financial Institutions Group

About the role

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst for its Wealth & Asset Management team within the Financial Institutions Group, based in New York, NY. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on differentiated and industry-transforming transactions globally, with a focus on M&A and other strategic advisory assignments for Wealth & Asset Management clients.

Responsibilities

• Work on financial and valuation analyses, including complex financial and accounting issues.
• Conduct industry and competitive analysis, as well as due diligence.
• Develop client presentation materials and support the management and execution of live deal situations.
• Assist in new business development efforts.
• Help train and manage new junior analysts.

Requirements

• Strong and demonstrated interest in investment banking with solid quantitative and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of accounting, valuation, corporate finance, and business strategy.
• Preferably one or more years of relevant work experience at another investment bank.
• Strong grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting.
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Great work ethic, enthusiasm, and an achievement-oriented character.

Pay

Expected base salary: $130,000. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred equity.
