Experienced Air Traffic Controller - International Applicants

Airservices Australia is seeking experienced Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) to join our team. We use state-of-the-art technology to ensure the safe movement of aircraft throughout Australian airspace.

Responsibilities

• Use state-of-the-art and evolving technologies to manage air traffic safely.
• Ensure the safe movement of aircraft through Australian airspace.
• Contribute to the shaping of the future of aviation by providing expert guidance and support.

Requirements

• Hold a current rating and endorsement in an Air Traffic Control environment.
• Have a minimum of five years' Air Traffic Control civilian operational experience and be working within an operational ATC environment within the last six months.
• Be able to provide certified documentation and referees to support your application.
• Undertake training for 1-3 months in Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth based on individual Training Needs Analysis.
• Have, or be willing to obtain a CASA Class 3 Medical.
• Willing to undergo a Police Records Check to obtain an Aviation Security Identification card.

Qualifications

• Hold an Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) level 6 English language proficiency.

Pay

• Your commencement salary will be determined and aligned to your years of experience as an air traffic controller.
• Salary levels can be found in the Air Traffic Control EA Min 5 years of experience (commence training ATC 4 then level 5 when endorsed)
• 6 years of experience (commence training ATC 5 then level 6 when endorsed)
• 7 years of experience (commence training ATC 6 then level 7 when endorsed)
• 8+ years of experience (commence training ATC 7 then level 8 when endorsed)
