About the role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned commercial credit professional who enjoys underwriting complex commercial relationships, partnering closely with lenders, and making a meaningful impact in a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Thrive in a thriving community bank in the Kansas City, KS metro area
- Work on larger, more complex commercial credit relationships
- Present credit recommendations to senior management or loan committees
- Underwrite larger borrowing relationships
- Work alongside experienced commercial lenders
- Provide trusted underwriting resources
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of commercial underwriting or commercial credit analysis in a banking environment
- Strong experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Commercial & Industrial (C&I), construction, and SBA/government-guaranteed lending
- Advanced financial statement analysis, global cash flow analysis, and complex credit structuring
- Working knowledge of participated or syndicated loans is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, though extensive banking experience will be strongly considered

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
