About the role

Experience Planners are the dream-weavers. Our team takes all of the hopes and desires for an incredible vacation and brings them to life before guests even step foot on the resort grounds. You’ll experience and understand all of the activities and dining that the resort has to offer, then share these experiences with guests daily. You’ll connect with guests to understand what makes the ultimate vacation for them—whether it’s a couple, a family, or a group getaway—and help dream up their perfect trip.

Responsibilities

• Act as a storyteller and educator to describe the resort to guests
• Connect with guests to understand what brings them joy and tailor their vacation experience
• Reserve activity and dining requests for guests within the resort and local area
• Work in a high-paced environment, multitasking between phone, computer, and guest conversations with high attention to detail
• Answer telephone calls and emails in a professional manner
• Provide information and assistance to guests regarding resort and activity details prior to arrival
• Properly log guest requests and follow up in a timely manner
• Display effective computer literacy and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
• Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Sales background preferred
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Positive attitude and willingness to participate in a learning environment
• Ability to integrate company values into all interactions
• Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to using new software products
• Dependability and availability to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands

Physical Requirements

• Most work tasks are performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis
• Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
