Job Summary

Job Description

• Makes confident design decisions and supports others in developing their ideas.
• Guides engineers and studio collaborators to maintain conceptual design integrity during production, considering client needs and feasibility.
• Develops and presents unique ideas at various levels, including daily work, creative review meetings, and client presentations.
• Produces high-quality deliverables for creative projects, from sketch ideation to 3D model rendering and creative presentation building.
• Analyzes creative briefs and project specifications to conceptualize design solutions for physical structures, ensuring alignment with creative intent, structural and environmental requirements, and efficient production.
• Generates initial design concepts through hand sketching, refines visual elements using Photoshop, and develops detailed 3D models using advanced CAD and 3D software.
• Uses design and CAD software to create prototypes, detailed 3D models, and final designs.
• Fosters team cohesion and contributes to a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.
• Stays updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to retail, quick service restaurants (QSR), and hospitality sectors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications of Position

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in industrial, interior or architectural design
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design concepts and completed projects

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong visual communication skills and ability to generate ideas through iterative sketching and modeling
• Proficiency in design software and tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Layout)
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and materials in design
