Expense Analyst, FP&A

Job Summary

Corpay is seeking an Expense Analyst, FP&A within its Finance division. This role is part of the Corpay line of business. The Expense Analyst will support expense financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, serving as a trusted financial advisor across Finance and cross-functional organizations.

How We Work

This role will be performed in an onsite environment. Corpay will provide an assigned workspace and company-issued equipment, along with formal training.

Responsibilities

• Headcount & expense budget planning, collaborating with department leaders on hiring needs and expense budgets.
• Financial reporting to executive management, parent company, and subsidiary companies for GAAP requirements, performance management, and decision support.
• Providing regular headcount & expense performance reports with variance explanations.
• Managing the monthly process for expenses, including financial close, forecasting, department rosters, and reporting of variances.
• Assisting in creating reports for various audiences on performance, forecast, and budget.
• Enhancing reporting and modeling from discrete spreadsheets to consolidated financial tools.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in expense budgeting, headcount planning, financial analysis, or related business environment.
• Experience in a changing environment, preferably in a payment, fintech, or SaaS company.
• Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with TM1 IBM Planning Analytics, Planful, or similar financial planning tools preferred.
• Knowledge of financial modeling, roster management, people skills, business acumen, financial principles, technology, time management, critical thinking, and compliance.
