About the role
The role is responsible for coordinating and organizing door orders, verifying accuracy against customer specifications, and directing material flow throughout the staging process. Key responsibilities include communicating with upstream/downstream channels and departments, assisting in stack consolidations, sending faulty doors to repair, analyzing discrepancies, and directing lift drivers.
Responsibilities
- Communicates with upstream/downstream channels and departments across the plant to expedite doors shipping needs to complete loads.
- Aids in stack consolidations by PO, customer, and customer locations. Stacks/downs tacks pallets of doors to customer shipping quantity specs, verifies doors and jetta mark/species on the doors match the tickets, assists to direct lift drivers on where to stage pallets of doors, combine/build/pyramid door stacks for each customer using SOP procedures - (use culled doors/cardboard/runners between pallets to protect doors).
- Sends doors to repair that fail to meet quality specs. Assists in directing Lift drivers to restock pallets, cardboard, culled doors, and slats as necessary.
- Analyzes discrepancies between system and physical numbers.
- Directs lift drivers on where to stage pallets of doors.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to use EXCEL to enter data in spreadsheets accurately.
- Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office.
Requirements
- Knowledge of door staging locations and process for stack consolidation,
- Customer specs, proper stacking procedures, how to protect doors, quality specs, read/interpret tickets/schedules, door types/cores/species and acceptable stacking quantities,
- Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/16", convert fractions to decimals, correct pallet size with doors, customer specific stacking/packing requirements
- Basic reading and writing skills.

- Read tape measure 1/16" and work with sense of urgency.
Physical Demands
- Manually lift/slide/flip materials or doors up to 50 lbs and over with assistance. (bending, stooping, twisting)
- Standing for long continuous hours.
- Must be able to sit as needed for periods of time to complete paperwork and ability to work on a computer.
Mental Demands
- Fast paced job, constant need to recall where doors are staged for future consolidation.
- Separate doors by customer and load, and locate with like items within a pallet, high attention to details, detail oriented, & read/interpret schedules.
Working Environment
- Mildly controlled environment - can expect some cold and heat during extreme weather conditions.
- High dust and noisy environment.
