Responsibilities

  • Proactively embraces and promotes the company's HSE requirement's and culture
  • Maintains communication with vendors after PO issuance, ensuring they meet the commercial requirements of the order (primarily schedule, document deliverables, and delivery of goods)
  • Issues initial contact email to vendors listing requirements, expectations, and key contacts
  • Follows up periodically to ensure the vendor stays on schedule and deliverables are provided
  • Near shipment, coordinates with vendor and CB&I Logistics for proper pick-up and delivery of goods
  • Oversees closeout of the order, including payment of invoices, receipt of all deliverables, and receiving of the goods in the system
  • Escalates vendor problems, delays, and questions internally and externally to resolve issues and keep the vendor on schedule
  • Keeps detailed notes regarding vendor status and communication in reporting systems
  • Represents the department in meetings with other functions/management
  • Supports and implements improvements to tools, systems, and software to improve efficiency and maximize autonomy

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, or entry-level with a relevant degree
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
