About the role
The Expanded Learning Program Instructor supports students in various school sites with academic enrichment and extracurricular activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement learning activities aligned with district curriculum standards.
- Assist students with homework and provide additional support as needed.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- At least two references must be provided on your application.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proof of HS Graduation (Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade).
- Current Resume required.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of child development and educational psychology.

Schedule
Length of Work Year: 10 months per year, 5 days per week, SHIFT HOURS: Monday-Friday 10:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
