Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
About the role
The Dental Specialty Center at Verber Dental Group is seeking a Part-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support the restorative and prosthetic team. This role will assist with complex functional and esthetic dental reconstruction, including implant-supported restorations and comprehensive treatment cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist with complex restorative and prosthetic cases
- Collaborate with specialists to provide comprehensive care
- Support implant-supported restorations and comprehensive treatment cases
- Work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with dentists and specialists
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience with a strong EFDA skill set
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—we provide in-house training)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with dentists and specialists
- Passion for dentistry and a commitment to continuing education
- Interest in learning implant restorative workflows and advanced prosthetic procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for esthetics
- Creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-first mindset
- Commitment to providing an exceptional, concierge-level patient experience

Schedule
Available 2-3 days per week, primarily Tuesdays and Thursdays with occasional Mondays.

Salary
$25.00-$31.50 /hour
