Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Job Duties

• Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• This position will also include placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings, application of fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents, and provision of oral hygiene instructions.
• No ortho or crown & bridge with very limited endo required.
• Some administrative duties are also required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers, Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License, and Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license are REQUIRED.
• MUST be willing to travel throughout Ohio, once the position transitions to that stage.
