Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)

Responsibilities

• Aid the dentist in various dental procedures through four-handed dentistry.
• Take scans, impressions, and diagnostic X-Rays.
• Thoroughly review and update patient health histories.
• Set up and break down dental operatory areas.
• Aid in stocking and ordering dental supplies.
• Ensure sterilization of dental instruments in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) experience.
• X-Ray certification required.
• Active CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Certified Dental Assistant certification preferred.
