About the role
We are seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to provide dental care to underserved children in school-based mobile clinics. This role involves traveling to school sites to deliver essential dental services with minimal disruption to students' school days.
Responsibilities
- Assist during mobile dental services
- Perform digital X-ray imaging
- Manage patient records
- Set up and sterilize dental equipment
- Travel to various school sites
Requirements
- EDDA experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- Digital X-ray certification
- Sealant and coronal polishing certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work well with children in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
