About the role

Cincinnati Dental Services - Florence - Ewing is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join their team. The position supports the clinical treatment care of patients and plays a significant role in the provision of effective and trustworthy dental services.

Responsibilities

• Sustain patient comfort and soothe upset patients
• Listen to patient needs and educate them on dental procedures
• Manage clinical supplies and work efficiently to maintain the supported dentist’s schedule
• Adhere to all OSHA and company safety policies
• Organize and maintain lab equipment
• Take and develop X-rays
• Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients
• Take and record medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
• Aid the dentist in managing dental emergencies

Requirements

• Positive and outgoing personality
• Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent patient care skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Good manual dexterity
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
• Ability to travel at least once every other month for training, occasionally overnight
• Dental assisting school certificate (plus) or previous work experience in a dental practice (plus)

Pay

$3,000 Sign On Bonus

Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 400 PM (or later depending on need)
