About the role

The successful candidate will lead a dynamic exhibition program, manage a team of curators, and oversee all aspects of the museum's educational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative exhibitions that engage diverse audiences
• Manage a team of curators, providing mentorship and support
• Oversee educational programs, including workshops, lectures, and public talks
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance visitor experiences
• Conduct research and write catalogues for exhibitions
• Represent the museum at industry events and conferences

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of professional curatorial experience
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams
• Experience in developing and implementing educational programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of contemporary art and its historical context
• Experience working in a museum setting
• Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm
