About the role
The successful candidate will lead a dynamic exhibition program, manage a team of curators, and oversee all aspects of the museum's educational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative exhibitions that engage diverse audiences
- Manage a team of curators, providing mentorship and support
- Oversee educational programs, including workshops, lectures, and public talks
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance visitor experiences
- Conduct research and write catalogues for exhibitions
- Represent the museum at industry events and conferences
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of professional curatorial experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams
- Experience in developing and implementing educational programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of contemporary art and its historical context
- Experience working in a museum setting
- Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 annually
