Exhibit Detailer
About the role
The Exhibit Detailer plays a critical role in turning creative intent into accurate, buildable, and repeatable solutions. This role supports the full lifecycle of custom exhibit and experiential work by creating detailed documentation that guides materials, fabrication, CNC output, installation, reconfiguration, and long-term asset use.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings related to Bills of Materials (BOM), construction, and installation of exhibits.
- Reconfigure existing properties to develop new booth layouts and configurations.
- Work within established project budgets and utilize resources/materials efficiently to minimize waste.
- Maximize the return on RES’s investment in design engineering and CNC technology.
- Operate and maintain proficiency in computers, software, and file management systems.
- Produce clear, accurate illustrated and written documentation.
- Effectively communicate design intent and specifications to internal teams and clients.
- Maintain awareness of departmental schedules, priorities, and workloads.
- Provide leadership and share expertise in all aspects of design engineering.
- Develop documentation and training materials to support design engineering processes.
- Establish and maintain exceptional, competitive design engineering and manufacturing standards.
- Ensure all hardware and software remain in optimal operating condition.
- Research and introduce innovative offerings, techniques, and materials to enhance capabilities.
- Maintain an up-to-date library of resources, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Organize and manage all job archives for easy retrieval and historical accuracy.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in industrial design, architecture or engineering or other relevant discipline preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience working in the exhibit industry.

Pay
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, with opportunity for overtime. Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
