Job Summary

Develops exercise prescription and oversees exercise progression in patients with chronic diseases. Leads team members by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology required. Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in an acute care hospital/cardiac rehabilitation program for 2-3 years required.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Utilize and maintain specialized equipment, devices and computer programs.
  • Show strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Mentor and train staff.
  • Knowledge of acceptable ranges of blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation and EKG and report any abnormal values to RN.
  • Show strong customer service mindset.
  • Show strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Work independently with only general supervision.
