Exercise Physiologist

About the role

Under the supervision of the Manager and/or supervisor of Cardiopulmonary Rehab, this position plans, organizes, and implements the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, Pulmonary Rehabilitation program, and the Fitness First program.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
• Plans and organizes Pulmonary Rehabilitation program
• Plans and organizes Fitness First program

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of a professional Exercise Physiology curriculum accredited by the National accreditation body of that organization
• Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree
• CPR certification required
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment

Education

• Preferred: Master's degree

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified by ACSM
• Membership in professional organization recommended
