Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-end restaurant, club, hotel, or senior living company
- Significant responsibility in kitchen supervision and excellent training skills
- Experience in advanced cooking: garde manger, baking, sauces, and all methods of preparations and presentations of hot and cold food
- Prior experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Culinary Arts Degree is a plus
- Current state health and sanitation certification
- Knowledge of ordering procedure (produce, dairy, meat, fish, etc.) and food and labor cost controls
- A strong process orientation and professionalism
- Effective communication and team-building skills
- A high school diploma or GED preferred, Culinary Arts degree is a plus
- Prior experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
