Executive Protection Agent Team Lead - US

About the role

Currently seeking an experienced Full Time Executive Protection Travel Team Lead with high integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing close protection for C-Level executives and their family.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, Surefox policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations.
  • Provide safe and secure vehicle transportation for C-Level executives and their family.
  • Respond to emergency events as well as medical & non-medical issues.
  • Provide physical security, address staffing deficiencies, handle client requests in a timely manner, and any other tasks assigned to you by your program leadership.
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/ or vehicle while monitoring access, on occasion as needed.
  • Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site, on occasion as needed.
  • Cookordination and collaboration with supporting or adjacent teams, agencies, or vendors to ensure clients security requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Rotational scheduled - 20 days on / 20 days off.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
  • Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
  • Must have at least 4 years of physical security experience.
  • Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card.
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to travel from remote/home location to the work location generally within the Bay Area for 20 day rotational periods.
  • Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card.
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent and meet one of the following criteria:
    • A graduate of a reputable executive protection training school.
    • 5+ years of corporate and high net worth executive protection experience.
    • 2+ years of security experience in a high threat environment.
  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • All applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.
  • Possess a valid and current driver license.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to work autonomously, domestically and internationally.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist and take direction from the Team Lead and the Executive Protection Operations Manager.
  • Assist with counselings (quarterlies, annuals, positive/negative).
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling and national/international logistics.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Security or law enforcement related experience preferred.
  • Military background is a plus.
  • Report writing experience preferred.
  • Experience working with families and children in a high net worth environment.
  • Experience with international travel and experience in overseas protection assignments.
  • Executive Protection related training course(s) attendance or experience.
  • Anti-terrorism or high-threat driving course(s) attendance or experience.

Skills

  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Assist and take direction from the Team Lead and the Executive Protection Operations Manager.
  • Assist with counselings (quarterlies, annuals, positive/negative).
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling and national/international logistics.
