Executive Producer - Call of Duty

Activision Blizzard · Santa Monica, CA · 3 wk ago
On-siteInformation Technology$137k–$253k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes sections: "Your Mission", "Your Responsibilities Will Include", "What You Bring To The Table", "The Skills & Experience We’re Looking For", "Our World At Activision", "Rewards Requirements". Also location, schedule: "This position is based in our Santa Monica, California office and follows an in-office work model of four days per week." That's schedule info. Pay: "In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $136,880.00 - $253,260.00 Annual." So we need Pay and Schedule sections. We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "General employment questions cannot be accepted or processed here." etc. Also remove "We are an equal opportunity employer..." etc. Remove "Rewards Requirements" heading? Actually "Rewards Requirements" is a heading in the posting; we can treat it as Benefits section. The content includes benefits description and pay range. We'll separate Benefits and Pay maybe. We need to include sections only when posting has real specific content. So we will have sections: About the role (maybe from "Your Mission" and "Our World At Activision"? Actually "About the role" could be the description of role/mission. We'll create

    About the role

with paragraph summarizing mission? But we must not invent or summarize away detail; we can quote the mission paragraph. The mission paragraph: "Activision Publishing is currently looking for an Executive Producer to join the Call of Duty franchise production team. We are looking for an individual who has a passion and proven track record of leading production initiatives. As Executive Producer, you will manage production initiatives on one or multiple projects across various platforms from both a business and publishing perspective. You will partner with both internal and external studios in a wide range of areas to achieve franchise initiatives as well as attain financial and schedule goals. This entails day-to-day involvement with the development teams and key publishing stakeholders throughout all phases of development, including pre-production, production, submission, and release. Specific duties include: working with teams to build out initiative requirements, goals, and roadmaps; ensure milestones are delivered on-time and the game meets quality standards; help maintain creative vision; track overall development; and work closely with all developers and cross-functional groups to deliver initiatives, activations, and digital content to meet all project and franchise goals. You will guide and advance Call of Duty as you work with all Studios and Business Partners. This role will continuously iterate on best practices across all the franchise games, adapting with the business. You will be a project leader, and work in with multiple cross-functional groups, ranging from Activision executive leadership to development studios, and use your experience on the front lines to improve production and organizational processes, as well as drive key franchise initiatives with both developers and internal department leads." We can keep that as prose in

. Might be long but okay. Then Responsibilities: list from "Your Responsibilities Will Include". Those are bullet-like sentences separated by periods. We'll turn each into

  • . Ensure we keep all. Then Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: The posting has "What You Bring To The Table" (skills/experience), "The Skills & Experience We’re Looking For" (education, years, etc). Could combine into Requirements and Skills sections. But we need to avoid thin sections; maybe combine into one "Requirements" section with both experience and skills. However we need to follow instruction: use headings for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can include multiple if they have content. We'll see what content maps. "What You Bring To The Table" includes many bullet-like paragraphs: Proven Executive Producer..., 10+ years..., ability to identify risks..., A Leader of People..., Collaborator & Communicator..., Gamer Who Knows How To Make a Game Great..., Strategist with the Skills to Execute... This is a mix of skills and experience. "The Skills & Experience We’re Looking For" includes: Bachelor’s Degree..., 10+ years..., 3+ years Sr. Producer..., Experience shipping 3+ high quality titles..., Experience shipping on Xbox, PlayStation, PC..., Experience with online FPS games preferred. We could split into Requirements (education, years) and Skills (specific abilities). But we need to avoid filler. We'll create two sections: Requirements (education, years, shipping experience) and Skills (the list of abilities). Or we could combine into one "Requirements" and one "Skills". Let's do both. Benefits: from "Rewards Requirements" paragraph describing benefits. We'll extract benefits list. Pay: from salary range. Schedule: from in-office work model four days per week. We must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. Now produce HTML. Structure:

    Schedule

This position is based in our Santa Monica, California office and follows an in-office work model of four days per week. Working arrangements may evolve based on business needs.

We need to ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like "General employment questions cannot be accepted or processed here." etc. We removed. Check for any duplicated lines: we didn't repeat. Check for any mention of "Rewards Requirements" heading - we turned into Benefits. Check for any mention of "Our World At Activision" - we didn't include that as a section; maybe we could incorporate into About the role? The "Our World At Activision" is more about company description; could be considered part of About the role? But we already have About the role from mission. Could add another paragraph about company but not required. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We have many sections already; maybe we could merge "Our World At Activision" into About the role as additional paragraph. But we already have About the role with mission; adding company description may be okay. However we must not invent or summarize away detail; we can include that paragraph as part of About the role. Let's add a second

under About the role containing the "Our World At Activision" paragraph. The "Our World At Activision" paragraph: "At Activision, we strive to create the most iconic brands in gaming and entertainment.
