Executive Medical Director, Clinical Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement clinical development plans and study protocols with a multidisciplinary team
• Represent clinical development to senior internal and external stakeholders
• Provide clinical assessment for business development opportunities
• Ensure robust clinical input into target product profiles (TPPs)
• Co-lead interactions with global health authorities regarding regulatory strategy
• Support the selection and communication with clinical trial investigators
• Conduct medical assessments of adverse events in collaboration with Drug Safety
• Oversee clinical trials in accordance with SOPs, Good Clinical Practice, and regulations
• Analyze and present clinical study results to internal and external audiences
• Aid with budget planning and personnel forecasting for clinical research programs

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD with 5-10 years' clinical research experience in an industry setting
• PREFERRED: Sub-specialty training or board certification in hematology, oncology, or related fields
• Experience in early development and designing first-in-human studies
• Proven track record of building clinical development plans (CDPs) with cross-functional teams
• Strong ability to integrate biological knowledge into clinical development strategies
• Recognized internal medical leader with extensive technical expertise and experience as Clinical Lead
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
